FOURTH WEEK – REFLECTION
Well, this week I’ve begun to consider in what to do to improve my classes through technology. As Donna suggested, I think I have to do a Plan because it is not possible for me to do a Project since I don’t teach the same students for more than a month. I liked to read the website about Writing, especially the one about Writing Argumentative Essays, for This skill is my favorite to teach. I found a kind of complicated to write the Lesson Plan because in my country we use a different lesson Plan template. Well, I believe it is a matter of getting used to.

ReplyDeleteIt's just our 4th week and we're stil warming-up.
This week I had a problem with the project work. I had to change my project group and I couldn't identify the problem that the technology is supposed to solve for the new group.I have a very general specification of a problem. "to improve the language", but it is the overarching goal behind each specific goal. Maybe I get confused because I believe technology itself can naturally motivate the students and facilitate learning.But of course It doesn't work this way all the time.I need to focus. My mind is occupied with this right now. Your situation is more complicated with circulating classes but as I read you already have a focus.That's great.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Sebnem that we've have spent considerable time and yet we haven't warmed up. I must say things which Donna gave us are done in my country either. But I enjoy myself learning new things and hope the same for you.
